I learned recently that when Terry Pratchett (my hands down favorite author) was knighted, he forged his own sword and named it Thunderbolt Iron.

Thunderbolt Iron
Weapon (shortsword), Legendary (requires attunement by a Bard, Warlock, or Sorcerer)
Long ago, a man was crowned a King after pulling a sword from a stone. Witnessing this, a nearby man joked to his friend, a smith, that they should have crowned the man who put the sword in the stone in the first place. Later that night, while at home alone, the smith thought on those words. He then awoke his apprentice and the two worked through the night and the next day and the next. After eight days of hard work, the smith came out with the finest sword anyone in the kingdom had ever seen. A sword, so he said, that a true leader of men could thrust through rock as though it were bread. Unfortunately, the blade was stolen by the fae before it could be used in any kind of political process.
Thunderbolt Iron uses your spellcasting ability instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of melee attacks using it. Additionally, anyone attuned to the blade gets advantage on Persuasion checks once per day.
However, whenever an enemy is killed by Thunderbolt Iron roll a d20. On a 1, 1d10 tiny blue men appear and try to steal the sword.
